Hi, sorry it's been a while since my last post. Today I want to share with you some black and white photos I took. I love taking black and white photos because they add drama and personality. It is  a great thing to try for a little change.

Today it rained! After the rained everything looked so alive and beautiful. I decided I had to take some photos of all of the beauty. My friend and I were working together and the third photo she took.

Hi, today I have a photo collection to share with all of you. Yesterday, my sister at Day-Dreamer, Night-Thinker was planting a new garden and I photographed all the plants. I thought they turned out well and captured the moment.

How to Photograph your Pet

    Everybody loves a cute pet photo, yet pets can also be difficult to work with. I have two dogs that I love taking photos of. However, it seems that whenever I pull out my camera they always look the other way (maybe they are camera shy). Today I want to share my tips on how to photograph your pet.
     First of all, animals are constantly moving and it is difficult to get them to sit still and look at the camera. You can get your pet to look at the camera by squeaking their favorite toy above your head.  This is a great trick to get them to look at the camera and catch them by surprise, adding personality into the image.
     Start photographing when your pet is calm. If your pet is super hyper and jumping all over the photo will just be one big blur. Also, be sure to get to your pet's eye level. Taking photos of animals take time so be patient and allow imperfection during the learning process.
